Briana received her BFA in Acting from the University of Southern California where she traveled to Rwanda for the Arts in the One World conference, where she studied Theatre of the Oppressed with artists from around the world and survivors of the 1994 Rwandan genocide. It was during this time in Rwanda that Briana harvested a passion for contributing positively to the world whenever possible. This brought Briana to Chicago where she received her Masters in Early Childhood Education and taught Pre-K and Kindergarten for four years. After a recent transition out of the classroom and back into acting, Briana is thrilled to be part of sharing this story. She believes deeply in the role art plays in bringing a voice to the voiceless.
